The R&D Senior Manager will be the expert, analyzing, testing, and formulating new and improved coatings, drawing on the candidate’s deep knowledge of chemistry, materials, and our existing product lines.

Description
- Serve as an expert in analyzing, testing, and developing new or updated formulas, requiring a comprehensive understanding of chemistry, product lines, and materials. Lead small project teams and determine quality standards.
- Conduct design of experiments to gain an in-depth understanding of coatings, resins products, and base formulations to develop novel coatings.
- Understand technical challenges and provide solutions to overcome problems.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to design, plan, and conduct projects for developing and improving new paint systems.
Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in R&D within the performance coating/industrial coating industry.
- Strong understanding of performance coating/industrial coating/resin-based flooring product knowledge, including expertise in materials used, product development, and product-applied performance.
- Proficiency in manufacturing processes and handling product quality complaints.
