About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team at PT. TUNGALOY INDONESIA’. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and maintaining strong relationships with our valued customers across Jawa Barat. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to contribute to the overall success of our organisation.
What you’ll be doing
- Proactively identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities within your assigned territory
- Providing technical expertise and product knowledge to assist customers in selecting the most suitable solutions
- Preparing detailed sales proposals and presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition
- Negotiating contract terms and closing sales deals to meet or exceed individual and team targets
- Maintaining strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication and account management
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and customer satisfaction
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
- Strong technical background and understanding of engineering principles, product specifications, and industry standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers at all levels
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and consistently delivering high customer satisfaction
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales-related tools to manage pipeline and customer data
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with the local Jawa Barat market and strong network within the industry
