About the role
As a Sales Engineer at PT Preformed Line Products Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in driving the company’s success within the electrical power industry. This full-time position is based in West Java, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the company’s strategic goals.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing technical expertise and product knowledge to support the sales team in identifying and addressing customer needs
- Drive production process improvement (productivity, reject, rework, etc)
- Support review BOD and runtime for new product development and inquiry in conjuction with Eng production, and tooling personnel
- Collaborating with customers to understand their requirements and proposing tailored solutions
- Preparing and presenting technical proposals, demonstrations and product specifications
- Assisting with the implementation and troubleshooting of products and services
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners to ensure their satisfaction
- Staying up-to-date with market trends, industry developments and competitor activities
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor degree of Mechanical – Energy Electrical with min experience related min 4 years manufacturing industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative solutions to meet customer needs
- Familiarity with ERP system (Epicor) and programming PLC, HMI and Solid Cam.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
