Job Descriptions
- Regulating the flow, pressure, and water discharge from the WTP to the distribution network.
- Operating valves, gates, and pumps according to schedule.
- Checking pH, residual chlorine, and turbidity at distribution points.
- Monitoring water discharge using a flowmeter and performing pipe flushing.
- Inspecting for leaks and distribution disruptions.
- Conducting minor repairs and coordinating major repairs.
- Maintaining water levels in reservoirs and water pressure using booster pumps.
- Performing routine inspections on pumps and pipelines.
- Following up on customer reports regarding distribution issues.
- Reporting problems that require further technical handling.
- Recording daily operational data.
- Preparing reports and providing repair recommendations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum D3/S1 degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in water distribution, production, or treatment at a WTP (preferably in an industrial-scale setting).
- Willing to work in a shift system.
