Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Position Summary:

Business Development Lead is responsible for driving sustainable financial growth through leading and managing the BD Alana AlphaOne team to achieve and increase revenue targets, improve position in the market, identify rising business opportunities, maximize profits, and forge strong, long-term relationships with customers or partners.

Core Responsibility:

Market Positioning &amp Identify Opportunities

  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies focusing on financial gain, and customer satisfaction, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Identify and analyze emerging market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes to refine product offerings.
  • Plan and oversee new market initiatives or partnerships.
  • Provide regular reports, forecasts, insight, and areas that need improvements.

Sales Activation

  • Actively promote the company’s products/services by identifying and aligning with customers’ objectives and needs.
  • Proactively schedule and conduct business meetings with potential customers to explore new opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations and assist in closing deals, ensuring favorable outcomes for both the company and the customer.
  • Increase the conversion of active users with targeted sales initiatives and customer engagement strategies while attracting and acquiring new customers.
  • Collaborate with the team to prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to meet all company requirements regarding new account creation.

Revenue &amp Profits Focused

  • Drive overall business operations with a strong focus on achieving revenue targets and maximizing profitability.
  • Distribute and achieve revenue targets to team members.
  • Boost transaction volume by creating and managing programs that encourage higher user engagement and repeat business.
  • Analyze and evaluate new sales leads and determine the value and profitability of each deal.
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems or issues.
  • Conduct coaching and mentoring for sales agents in place to achieve the best performance according to customer expectations.
  • Review the performance of sales agents through assessments, role-playing, and/or simulations.

Relationship Cultivation and Networking

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Responsible for ensuring the creation and retention of new customers.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to network, build relationships, and explore potential collaborations.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Business Management, Business Administration, Management or relevant field
  • 5-7 years experience in Sales or Business Development fields and min. 2 years total working experience in a Leader/Supervisory position in a fintech company
  • Proven business development or sales track record
  • Having in-depth knowledge of sales methods
  • Good understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape 
  • Ability to identify and pursue sales leads, present proposals persuasively, and negotiate contracts or agreements with clients. 
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel regularly to attend and host meetings and assist with general management duties
