Job Description:
Develop and Implement Quality Control Systems establishing quality control policies, procedures, and standards for tissue products and processes.
Manage the Quality Control Team
Oversee the Converting Process Ensuring that all stages of the converting process, from raw materials to finished products, meet quality standards.
Inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify and address defects.
Perform Quality Control Testing using various testing methods to ensure that products meet specifications.
Maintaining accurate records of inspections, testing results, and corrective actions
Working with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality issues and improve processes
Identifying root causes of quality problems and implementing corrective and preventative measures.
Staying up-to-date on relevant regulations and standards and ensuring that all processes comply with them.
Identifying opportunities for improvement in quality control processes and implementing changes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, paper science or related field is desired.
Experience in tissue making or converting tissue is highly preferred
Minimum of 8 year experience and 3 years in managerial position
A demonstrated track record of proven performance and ability to lead teams.
