Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Manager to join our team. The QA Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance within our manufacturing processes, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
 
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with customer standard.
– Establish and maintain quality control systems throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials inspection to finished product testing.
– Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
– Manage and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
– Analyze data and metrics to monitor product quality trends and performance, and develop strategies to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
– Coordinate with external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers, to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
– Stay current with industry developments and best practices in quality assurance and incorporate them into our processes and procedures.
 
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality management, or a related field advanced degree preferred.
– Minimum of ten years of experience in quality assurance or quality management roles within the furniture industry.
– Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies, such as ISO 9001 and Six Sigma.
– Proven track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives and driving measurable results.
– Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
– Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
– Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
– Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager) is a plus.
