Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Supervisor to oversee our IT operations within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or Epicor. The IT Supervisor will ensure the efficient operation of our IT systems, provide support to end-users, and implement technology solutions that enhance our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP System Management:
• Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor).
• Ensure data integrity, security, and availability within the ERP system.
• Provide training and support to staff on ERP system usage. - IT Infrastructure Management:
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, software / hardware and CCTV.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with external vendors for IT services and support. - Team Supervision:
• Supervise and lead a team of IT support staff.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and training.
• Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment. - Technical Support:
• Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot network, server, and software issues.
• Develop and maintain IT support documentation and procedures. - Project Management:
• Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, new implementations, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with other departments to understand IT needs and provide effective solutions.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. - Security and Compliance:
• Implement and maintain IT security policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments. - Budget Management:
• Assist in developing and managing the IT budget.
• Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Identify and propose opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT roles, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics and/or Epicor.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
