Job Description:
The Lead CAMO Planner is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the strategic planning and execution of all continuing airworthiness management activities across the fleet, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and maintenance efficiency. This role leads CAMO planners (where applicable), liaises with cross-functional departments, and serves as the key focal point for planning oversight, aircraft maintenance readiness, and airworthiness directive compliance.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Drive the development, execution and improvement of maintenance forecasts in line with the Approved Maintenance Programme (AMP), operational changes, and regulatory requirements.
2. Ensure end-to-end oversight of work orders—from preparation to closure—and monitor compliance with Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and regulatory obligations (MCAR/CAD).
3. Act as the central liaison with CSM, Work Preparation, Maintenance, and Quality departments to align maintenance schedules and operational needs efficiently.
4. Drive digitalisation and provide technical guidance to CAMO team members, fostering knowledge sharing, standardisation, and continuous improvement in the implementation of CAMO monitoring tools.
5. To perform routine CAMO Planner functions of:
Planning maintenance activities based on the Approved Maintenance Programme (AMP) and the latest aircraft maintenance forecast with ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Developing scheduled maintenance forecast based on Aircraft Status List, Modification Record Book and the available Maintenance Information Software (Envision):
Aircraft Maintenance forecast distribution and effective communication to CSM, Work Preparation, MSL and other related departments.
Focal points for tasks that are related to preparation and issuance of Work Orders for aircraft maintenance activities.
Review of work order before and after execution.
Responsible for monitoring the issued work orders, tracking its progress and providing the completed work order to the technical record in a timely manner.
Actively update the content in aircraft Modification Record Book.
Monitoring the compliance of Airworthiness Directive, Emergency Alert Service Bulletin, Alert Service Bulletin, or any Service Bulletin or Safety Information Letter issued by aircraft or engine manufacturer for timely embodiment.
Monitoring of MCAR and CADs compliance
Monitoring of aircraft Modification and Repairs, including Minor Modification, STC, optional Service Bulletin and repairs that are outside of AMM, SRM and/or EMM.
Monitoring of aircraft Mass and Balance Records
Monitoring of Structural Damage Report / Dent and Buckle Chart.
Defect Monitoring and defect rectification planning.
Monitoring and issuance of maintenance work orders related to aircraft parking and storage related conditions.
Coordinating the possibility to defer maintenance tasks and rescheduling within the approved time limits (MEL).
Manage the aircraft concession request, including preparation of concession request for the review by CAM Manager and Quality Dept.
Secondary Responsibilities
Cross-functional project participation, including new aircraft deliveries, Return to Service, induction of new/used aircraft, bridging inspection, reliability programme and other related activities requiring maintenance and certification planning.
Upkeep and live Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be exemplary to others and to promote and increase the awareness of Airbus Values, Leadership Models and Code of Conduct.
Carry out any other task as directed by the superior.

Qualification & Professional Skills
Minimum level: Diploma in Aircraft Engineering/ Electro-Mechanical/ Aeronautical or equivalent. Preferable having Bachelor degree in Aircraft Engineering/ Electro-Mechanical/ Aeronautical or equivalent.
Proficiency in using technology systems & tools proficient in Microsoft Office and CAMO Monitoring Software MIS.
Excellent in written and verbal communication skills: reporting, presentations, etc.
Understanding of aircraft planning/maintenance systems and techniques and their relation to the aircraft maintenance program.
Conversant with rules and regulations of Civil Aviation Authorities, pertaining to the CAMO, AMO, DOA, policies, procedures, manuals.
Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of CAAM part 145, part 21 and sub part “M” requirements.
3 Years experience of maintenance organization task/activity in an approved maintenance organisation organization, or experience of continuing airworthiness management task/activity.
5 Years Experience in CAMO environment
