About the role
Join the dynamic team at PT Alfa Valves Indonesia as a full-time Logistics professional. Based in West Java, this key role will be responsible for overseeing the company’s import and export operations, ensuring efficient and compliant supply chain management.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage the import and export processes, including customs clearance and documentation
- Coordinate logistics activities with suppliers, carriers, and customers to optimise delivery times and costs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing import/export and customs procedures
- Liaise with government agencies and customs authorities to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Monitor and report on key logistics performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process efficiencies
- Provide training and guidance to logistics staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
What we’re looking for
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, preferably in the manufacturing or transportation industry
- Experienced in especially handling IMPORT processes
- Strong understanding of import/export regulations (KEMENPERIN), customs clearance, and related documentation
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle complex logistics challenges
- Proficient in using logistics management software and data analysis tools
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
- Adaptable and proactive approach to continuously improve logistics operations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
