The Maintenance Manager role involves leading and optimising a team of technicians to ensure the efficient operation of technical equipment, with a focus on achieving safety, quality, and performance objectives. Description
- Manage, supervise, and lead a team of technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment by optimising team organisation and assess individual technicians to ensure skill alignment with operational needs.
- Achieve safety, quality, and performance objectives by implementing strategic plans and proactive measures.
- Participate in collaborative decision-making for setting priorities in repairs and maintenance alongside the packaging supervisor.
- Define and implement level-one and two maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and longevity as long as continuously improve the efficiency of maintenance plans through regular assessment and feedback mechanisms.
- Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth work-flow and addressing challenges promptly.
- Foster the professional development of the technician team through tailored training sessions and one-to-one interviews.
- Guarantee equipment and line requirements according to the launch plan, ensuring alignment with production goals.
- Drive continuous improvement in the workshop through the application of methodologies such as EOS.
- Involve technicians and operators in improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
- Develop and apply knowledge of continuous improvement methods, such as TPM, to enhance overall operational excellence.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Proven 10 years of experience in technical equipment management and team leadership.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (TPM, EOS, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
