Deskripsi Pekerjaan
Are you looking for a meaningful career in the Netherlands where you can truly make a difference in people’s lives? Do you enjoy caring for others and want to work in the field of maternity care? We are offering a unique Work & Learn opportunity in the beautiful region of Breda, the Netherlands – with full support for relocation, housing, and integration.
About Us
We are a passionate and close-knit team of maternity nurses working in the Breda and Tilburg region. Every day, we help families feel safe, supported, and cared for during one of the most special – and sometimes vulnerable – periods of their lives: the first days after childbirth. What sets us apart is the extra attention we give, the little details that make families feel truly seen and valued.
The Role
As a kraamverzorgende (maternity nurse), you will assist one or more families during childbirth and in the first 8 days after the baby is born. You are their main point of contact and support, monitoring their health, giving care instructions, and providing emotional support. You will also assist midwives during home births. Your goal is to make the family feel confident and independent by the end of the maternity week.
The Training Program (Work & Learn)
You will follow a CZO-accredited vocational program (MBO level 3) in cooperation with the Geboortezorg Academie. This is a paid traineeship, where you study and work at the same time. You will be trained as a baby care professional, family coach, nutrition expert, and medical assistant. You will be employed by us from day one and gradually take on more responsibilities as you gain experience.
