Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled PHP & Node.js Back-End Developer with strong system administration, server setup, and server management experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our back-end applications while ensuring smooth and secure server operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain scalable back-end solutions using PHP and Node.js.
Design, implement, and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Ensure efficient API development and integration.
Manage and optimize Linux-based servers for performance and security.
Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud-based or dedicated servers (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot server-related issues.
Implement security best practices to protect applications and data.
Work closely with front-end developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration.
Automate server management tasks using scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
Maintain backups and disaster recovery strategies.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in back-end development with PHP and Node.js.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and WebSocket communication.
Experience with Linux server administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
Knowledge of cloud hosting platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or DigitalOcean.
Proficiency in database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Understanding of security protocols, firewalls, and server hardening techniques.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or similar caching/message queue services.
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and automated deployment strategies.
Previous experience in a high-traffic production environment.
