Job Responsibilities
- Oversees the purchasing department and manages the organization’s purchase of goods and services.
- Oversees the entire purchasing process, from sourcing suppliers/vendors, negotiates contracts, and manages contracts with suppliers/vendors to delivering contracts to users/production team.
- Manages the day-to-day operations, including purchasing software, processes, and policies.
- Develops and implements strategies for specific categories of goods or services.
- Develops and implements strategies to improve supplier/vendor performance and reduce costs.
- Develops and implements strategies to increase the diversity of suppliers and vendors used by the organization.
- Manages relationships with vendors and ensures they meet performance expectations.
- Ensures suppliers/vendor meet quality standards, and their products meet the organization’s requirements.
- Manage relationships and ways of working with key suppliers in order to align understanding & commitment with business expectations.
- Manages contracts with suppliers/vendor and ensures they comply with legal requirements and organizational policies.
- Develops and delivers training programs to purchasing staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Develop new suppliers as per the business need.
- Identify, implement & continuously improve systems & processes in order to deliver greater effectiveness of service for the company.
 
Job Requirement
- Male/Female, maximum 35 years old.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree from any major form reputable university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as purchasing manager / procurement manager.
- Have strong leadership skills, negotiation skills, planning skill, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Excel is a must.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.
- Proficiency in Mandarin can be highly advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with mature personality.
- Honest and demonstrating integrity on every action.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
- Willing to be placed in Bandung.
