We are seeking a visionary Sales Director to drive growth and innovation in the valves, piping, and water treatment industry. Headquartered in Singapore, our client seeks to expand their business in Indonesia and deliver high-quality solutions to sectors such as oil & gas and water treatment.
In this pivotal role, you will shape the company’s vision, lead business growth, and oversee operations, reporting directly to the Executive Chairman. This is a career-defining opportunity for a seasoned leader with a proven track record in the industrial sector to make a lasting impact.
Working location: West Java
Responsibilities:
Provide visionary leadership to drive company growth, align strategic initiatives with corporate goals, and build strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and industry leaders.
Oversee business development and sales efforts to expand market presence in the valves, piping, and water treatment sectors, achieving revenue and profitability targets.
Manage daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and alignment with business objectives while implementing strategies to enhance performance.
Develop and execute business policies, strategies, and high-level decisions in collaboration with senior management to maintain competitive market positioning.
Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and leadership continuity.
Ensure adherence to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and financial performance standards while managing risks and maintaining operational integrity.
Requirements:
Min. Degree in engineering, business management, or a related field is preferred an MBA is a plus.
Over 10 years of experience in leadership roles within valves/piping in the oil/gas or water treatment industries, with a proven track record of business growth and partnership development.
Able to speak in both MANDARIN & English to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and colleagues from China is a plus.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire teams, lead organizational change, and make critical decisions under pressure.
Expertise in sales and marketing within the industrial sector, with a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Highly adaptable, results-driven, and able to navigate complex challenges while adjusting to evolving business needs.
