Description
- Oversee all site activities, aligning business/market demands, operational efficiency, and ESHA (Environment, Safety, Health, and Assurance) requirements.
- Drive local site development in line with Business Unit (BU) strategies and regional management directives.
- Ensure transparent, efficient, and reliable production, infrastructure, and site services.
- Manage the site budget, including full manufacturing costs, general production expenses, and other financial elements.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations/guidelines across all site units.
- Foster and enable staff development and growth.
- Maintain relationships with local authorities, joint venture partners, unions, and the public.
- Propose and manage approved investments and budgets to meet site and BU targets.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Proven experience (8+ years) in plant or production management for a chemical site, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
